No.   After we see the property and make you a fair cash offer, it’s entirely up to you to accept or decline. We would like to buy your house, but we’re not going to try to talk you into it. It’s your house! You’re in control through the entire process.

Only after you’ve reviewed your options, talked to your family, and you decide that you want to sell us your house, then and only then will we have the title company draw up the appropriate paperwork to get you paid. We want the entire process to be easy and stress-free for you.

 Pretty quick actually!  We’ve had closings done in 72 hours, but I’d say most sellers get paid within 4-5 days.  If the title company finds something they have to fix, it could be delayed. Or if there are other legal issues to sort through, that could slow it down too. And of course if you want to schedule closing for a later date for any reason, you can do that too.  But in most cases, you will get paid within a few days.  We have the cash ready for you now, we just need the title company to get all of the background stuff taken care of before we can give it to you.
